In April 2012, Masslift Africa was awarded the opportunity to supply and maintain 17 x 2.5ton diesel Grendia forklifts for Tongaat Hulett in their Voermol Feeds division.
The contract term was to be over 36 months with an estimated utilisation of 300 hours a month per forklift. With this high utilisation in mind, and knowing that up-time and service response would be vital, it was required that the option of an on-site technician and 24 hour support be provided.
Over the 36 months of the contract, the Masslift Durban branch have maintained a strong relationship with Voermol Feeds shown by the fact that Masslift was re-awarded the contract in late 2014 for 23 new Mitsubishi Forklifts. This was due to the transparent and fantastic relationship built over the previous three years coupled with the high efficient and robust Mitsubishi Forklift allowing for maximum uptime.
